What a great addition to our regional hospital-Summit Healthcare here in Show Low, AZ. This is a new remodel of an interior portion of our hospital. All lab work for patients is in this central location which has been expanded from what we had previously. All tests - respiratory/pulmonary, cardio, lab blood work/hemotology, chest X ray, stress tests will be conducted in this area consolidating the med techs. New equipment has been ordered and the work can be completed faster. The area is elegant, is decorated with subdued colors, and will have local photography art work from David Loomis, employee at Summit, and anchored by a fireplace -(note my friend, Kathy Sandoval posing alongside in the photo below). The former lab area will now be brought in to enlarge our ER. Kent McQuillan, CIO at Summit, informed me the "next coming soon addition" will be a hyperbaric wound care center in 2013. It's all pretty exciting for those of us living here full time in the beautiful White Mountains and the rest of our part time residents!
